MORE BOOK EVENTS COMING UP

Back on the road in 2024. A very successful talk for the members of Horncliffe Arts Society in January will be followed by several more over the next two months:

• I have been invited to give a talk about the book on 18 March at Scone and District History Society. It will be held in the Old Scone Parish Hall, Burnside Road, Scone at 7.30 pm and non-members are welcome.

• Then there will be a talk at the New Club in Edinburgh which is open to club members and their guests only.

• I am delighted to have been invited to present an illustrated talk on 18 April about Three Perthshire Golfing Brothers at the R&A World Museum of Golf in St Andrews. This will tell the story of John, Sir Francis and General Sir Hope Grant’s enthusiasm for the game of golf not only in Scotland but also south of the border.
